The Black Healing Project is a love letter to Black people. It’s a sacred space where healing is honored, Black joy is uplifted, and our voices are at the center. In a world that asks us to shrink, The Black Healing Project reminds us to stand tall and reclaim our full selves. For too long, we’ve been expected to heal in systems that neither understand nor honor us. But our healing cannot be rushed, isolated, or disconnected from our culture. This project is a sanctuary for Black individuals to be nourished, supported, and celebrated.
We experienced the need for a dedicated space that acknowledges our struggles, celebrates our victories, and reconnects us to our ancestors. The Black Healing Project is that space—where healing is communal, ancestral, and continuous.
Founded by Dr. Tokeya C. Graham, a lifelong advocate for Black wellness, The Black Healing Project creates opportunities for holistic wellness centered on Black joy and cultural resilience. Through joy rituals, professional development, and community circles, we ensure every Black person has the space to heal without compromise. Join us—because we will get free, and we won’t die trying.
Mission
