Description

SOLD OUT!!! Join us for the launch of The Black Healing Project by Rochester’s own Tokeya Graham, and celebrate the community she has created through her tireless work as local advocate, activist, entrepreneur, and educator. There will be time to meet and mingle (6 PM), enjoy a reading and talk by the author (6:30 PM), and have your copy of the book signed at a reception (7:15 PM). Light refreshments will be provided.

More than a collection of exercises, The Black Healing Project is a testimony of overcoming, rooted in the wisdom of Black resilience. Healing is radical, necessary, and possible — join in and begin your journey today.

Tokeya C. Graham (she/her) is a multi-award-winning educator, writer, entrepreneur, and community activist/volunteer who advocates for racial equity, literacy, and community care. The owner of Soulstainable Living LLC, an equity, education, and leadership consulting firm, Dr. Graham holds degrees from Monroe Community College, SUNY Brockport, and the University of Rochester. A Rochester, NY, native, she is married with three adult children and one grandchild.
